How I fix it:
I write SEO-friendly but natural titles such as:
“Premium Kids Ethnic Wear Online in India | Brand Name”
This helps Google clearly understand:
- What the store sells
- Who the target audience is
- The geographic market
3. Collection Pages Are Not Optimized
Collection pages can rank faster than product pages, but most Shopify stores ignore them.
Mistakes I see:
- No collection description
- Only product grid visible
- No keywords or internal links
What I do:
I add 100–150 words of human-written content to each collection page explaining:
- What products are included
- Who the collection is for
- When and how these products are used
This improves:

- Time spent on page
- Internal linking strength
4. Heavy Images Without SEO Optimization
Shopify stores often use high-quality images, but they forget optimization.
Common problems:
- Large image file sizes
- No ALT text

My process:

- Rename image files with keywords
- Add meaningful ALT text
This helps with:
- Faster page loading

5. No Proper Blog Strategy (Or Only AI Blogs)
Some Shopify stores don’t have a blog at all.
Others publish generic AI-written blogs that don’t rank.
In 2025, Google prefers:
- Real experience
- Problem-solving content
- Human-written tone
What I recommend:
Blogs based on real questions and problems, such as:

These blogs build:
- Authority
- Trust
- Enquiry-based traffic
6. Poor Mobile Optimization
More than 70% of Shopify traffic comes from mobile devices, yet many stores are not mobile-friendly.
Issues I notice:
- Text too small
- Buttons hard to click
- Slow mobile loading
How I fix it:
- Mobile-first layout testing
- Speed optimization
- Better CTA placement for mobile users
This improves both SEO and conversions.
Final Thoughts
Shopify is a powerful platform, but even small SEO mistakes can stop sales completely.
In most cases, I don’t rebuild the entire website.
I simply fix what’s blocking Google and customers from trusting the store.
